Microphone Kits
JLI Electronics offers DIY kits based on the Sound Sleuth OPA microphone platform. Sound Sleuth provides the design story and project context; JLI provides the matched parts and the place to buy them.
The simplest entry point: a JLI2555B electret capsule with the Sound Sleuth OPA impedance converter.
A traditional true-condenser build using a TSC-1 capsule, OPA electronics and a dedicated polarization supply.
A dual-diaphragm TSC-2 with independent outputs so polar patterns can be created after the recording.
Specialized builds
